As our theme is called "Sightseeings and History of Great Britain" I slould write about history of Great Britain. I wrote about sightseeings of London. And now I want to write about Hundred Years War. I think the infomation about Hundred Years War will be useful and cognitive for everyone who learns English and history of England!
The Hundred Years' War was a series of wars waged from 1337 to 1453 by the House of Valois and House of Plantagenet, also known as the House of Anjou, for the French throne, which had become vacant upon the extinction of the senior Capetian, line of French kings. The House of Valois claimed the title of King of France, while the Plantagenets claimed the thrones of both France and England.
